Wade Spring has been manufacturing since 1921.
The company was founded by Frisby Wade, the Great Grandfather of current Chairman Daniel Wade. Our years of experience in the furniture trade ensures that all aspects of sprung seating can be catered for. As a company, we are looking to the future. Exploring options for innovation and expansion, whilst ensuring we continue to provide the same quality and service that our customers have come to expect.

Made in the UK
All springs are manufactured at our factory in Long Eaton. Long Eaton is widely recognised as the centre of quality upholstery manufacturer in the UK. We employ more than 50 staff working across 4 production departments, plus our engineering department with a number of skilled, versatile engineers who are crucial to the day to day running of the business.
Made Sustainably
Wade Spring recognise our responsibility to manufacture long-lasting, high-quality products and to do so with minimal impact on the Environment. We are limiting our impact on the environment by looking for ways to use energy, materials, and other resources more efficiently. One of the most effective ways to improve sustainability and lessen our environmental impact is to manufacturer products that are built to last.

The Wade name is synonymous with quality, we hold FIRA Gold accreditations, and our products undergo external and in-house testing. Ensuring only quality materials are purchased is of paramount importance. We have an established core of trusted suppliers who we have visited and audited to ensure we get consistent high quality raw materials. Our own in-house testing facilities are used to test wire pre-production and for testing products post production. Any new supplier’s products are rigorously tested before being accepted for general production use.
